The Pandemic Faire is almost here... /
I am participating in the Pandemic Faire - an on-line exhibition of art. I will post a link to the website once it goes live (which should be in a couple of days).
Meanwhile… here is the endpoint of what began as a pastel drawing. A bit of heaven and earth (with a hint of hells).

For your delectation - something that I’ve taken through a dozen major states so far…
This one also began as an oil drawing and combines elements from photography, code writing, and erosion modelling.
We saw the Hyman Bloom exhibit at the Boston MFA. /
We had the good fortune to be in Boston for the Hyman Bloom exhibition at the Boston MFA. A fine show and an intense experience. Very strong work. I was very impressed by the abstracted worlds found in details of many of his paintings. He could paint.
So, while still under the influence of his paintings, please see the following. This began as an oil drawing. The details represent about 6 inches at a full size of 33 inches square.

I will be at Mother Dog Studios with two new artworks this coming Saturday 23 November and the show will run until 14 Feb 2020. If you are in town… do come by.
